Connecting to Your Audience with Illustrative Energy
September 30, 2021
Deploying strong illustrations opens lines of connection with the audiences you serve. Your audience could be a Sunday morning congregation, a negotiation table, a talk with a mentee, or any number of opportunities. This week and last week, I sat down with nine master storytellers to hear how they use what Alyce McKenzie calls “illustrative energy.” My favorite part of these interviews was when each guest had the opportunity to share a favorite story.
